Officers on the beat have simultaneous access to multiple force systems including (but not restricted to) Command & Control, Intelligence, Crime, Case & Custody, PNC, QAS(Electoral Roll Register) and PND.

The solution is configurable and is able to dispatch incident details directly to an officer’s hand from your Command & Control system. Upon establishing an encounter the officer is able to search multiple systems simultaneously using the Single Point Functionality™ for data access and entry. If required an Encountercentric™ facility allows the officer to obtain information held centrally on several systems collated under an encounter and facilitates the updating of information instantly by the officer when in the field.

Officers use the data to make a positive identification aiding an informed decision which supports safer and effective community policing. All information is used to complete electronic forms and reports whilst on the beat. These report and forms (incident forms, standard reports, tickets) are populated by ‘clean data’ received from the centralised systems and/or local enquiries. No re-keying is required, data is passed between forms and reports in an instant. Printing is done on site rendering ticket issue a simple and speedy process.

Once completed all data, forms and tickets are passed back seamlessly and automatically to the forces central systems rendering the multiple re-keying of information into several disparate systems redundant. Beat Systems delivers the enabling technology to implement this system, it is the foundation of a national model for policing using mobile data.
