Beat Systems’ Mobile Platform delivers secure, robust, scalable and innovative mobile computing solutions. The core elements of the platform are: the Remote Client Applications developed with Beat Systems’ Client Application Toolkit and the Mobile Gateway that hosts the Data/Application Synchronisation and the interface to Legacy Systems and Applications.

The Client Applications are operated by Field Officers who transmit multi-media information over secure encrypted digital radio networks to and from the Central Services Manager. Wireless networks currently supported are TETRA Airwave, GSM/GPRS, Blue tooth and 802.11. Client Applications are hosted on ruggedised hardware.

Security is a major feature of the product with Home Office/CESG security standards applied to all solutions.  GPS and GIS integration is well established providing a comprehensive product portfolio to the UK security markets. Stock control using RFID and scheduling add considerable benefits to the product portfolio which has established the solution firmly in the police and criminal justice markets.

Voice recognition for navigation and form-fill enables reliable and robust Speech-to-Text functionality.  Add to this a mobile printing capability, Beat Systems is firmly established as the provider of the industry standard for secure mobile computing.
