British Transport Police

Developing technology in consultation with Scottish Police Information Strategy - SPIS - and the Police Information Technology Organisation - PITO has enabled Beat Systems to produce a customised mobile solution for UK police forces.

Motorola provide the network infrastructure and Tetra implementation (Dimetra) for the UK Emergency Services Digital Network Airwave.  Beat Systems is a member of the Motorola Partner Program and a licenced user of the Airwave Application Programming Interfaces.

The Scottish Executive
The Scottish Executive fully recognises and supports Beat Systems following their successful SMART and SPUR awards. As a developing Scottish Company, Beat Systems is supported by the Executive who are committed to helping the company grow. A network of government and other public service departments are now available to Beat Systems through its recognised work with the Scottish Executive.

DDA
The UK Defence Diversification Agency is currently evaluating Beat Systems solution for an application aimed at the three armed forces. The proposals will remain under a confidential agreement to protect the interests of the UK’s defence agencies.

Strathclyde University
Strathclyde University directorate of Electronic, Electrical and Communications Engineering has close business ties with Beat Systems in supporting the company’s advance research using the Universities faculty. Prof John Soraghan is assisting the company in sourcing PhD students to ensure Beat Systems advanced solutions remain at the cutting edge of technology.
