Inaugural Meeting for User Group

The growing number of Beat Systems Police Force Customers took an exciting step forward yesterday with the inaugural meeting of the Beat Systems User Group.

With Beat Systems now established as the market leader in Mobile Information solutions to UK Police Forces, the customer organisations have formed a User Group in partnership with Beat Systems to provide a forum for ongoing collaboration, information sharing, innovation and roadmap development.

7 Forces joined to launch the User Group, along with representatives from the NPIA and Beat Systems, welcoming the event in bringing their ideas and experience together, whilst establishing initiatives to develop moving forward.

Beat Systems provided an upbeat message on the achievements made to date, progress, business growth, planned functional development and the ongoing enhancements coming to the solution.

“The solution has the largest and arguably the only Supplier User Group in the police mobile data community. Joining a national platform of users presents considerable benefits and opportunities including shared development and functionality, national initiatives, latest benefits analysis and project updates.

New functionality and applications will be acquired on a user group basis providing economies of scale and enhancing solution design. A robust roadmap, developed by users, is one of the benefits available the group.

The Beat Systems User Group will continue to set and raise the standards of mobile information in UK Policing.”
