News headlines18 October 2006 Cheshire Police use Beat Systems Mobile Cheshire Police Authority has chosen under a competitive tender, Beat Systems to deliver the forces mobile data solution. The comprehensive project will see the force for the first time providing officers mobile access to key central systems including Command & Control, Intelligence, Crime, PNC, QAS with a full STOPS facility. Officers will use hand held devices to access the systems allowing them not only to view sensitive central data but also to instantly update the systems and complete forms and tickets whilst out on the beat. The project will prove that Beat Systems mobile solution delivers real operational savings and improved safety to police officers and the public alike.
