Motorola team up with Beat Systems
Beat Systems and Motorola have each delivered proven, robust and referenceable mobile solutions to UK police forces. Now for the first time both these powerful technologies are brought together to deliver a complete, proven and referenceable mobile solution for UK police forces.
· Motorola has developed the first -ever personal digital assistant (PDA) to operate on the police Airwave network. The new robust PDA delivers public safety users pocket-sized access to essential two-way data applications whilst on the move. The PDA offers the same value of Motorola’s TETRA hand-portable radios: Always On, Trusted, Reliable and Secure.
· Beat Systems has developed the proven and referenceable secure mobile solution as used by UK police forces. The solution allows officers on the beat secure access to all central systems via Single Point Functionality™ for data access and entry. C&C, Intelligence, Crime, Case, PND, PNC and QAS systems are amongst those systems simultaneously accessed and updated by officers on the beat. Incidents and forms are populated with clean data collated centrally or locally. All central systems are instantly updated and tickets issued on site.
The partnership provides a unique and powerful solution across Airwave for UK Police Forces and Local Government.
