02 and the Airwave Project

02 has acknowledged Beat Systems mobile technology by requesting that it forms part of their official demonstration at 02’s test labs in Rugby. The show case will be presented to public and private sector organisation seeking to use 02’s digital network, Airwave, capable of delivering information over TETRA or GPRS.

Jayish Patel, Airwave project Manager for 02,confirms "Beat Systems mobile technology has been successfully demonstrated on the Airwave Reference System and no adverse affect was noted. The demonstartion was conducted on R5.0 system.
As part of the testing we are pleased that Beat Systems have left a sample application for future testing and to demonstrate the Beat System mobile technology solution to our visitors."
