Beat Systems Wins Two National Scottish Executive Awards
Beat Systems having already won the prestigious SMART award for its innovative technology, has now also secured a SPUR award for its mobile software solution. Initially aimed at the police and private security markets, the software has received support from the Scottish Police Information Strategy, SPIS, with several other English police forces planning to pilot the system.
The company received the award from the Deputy First Minister and Minister for Enterprise and Lifelong Learning Jim Wallace. Steve McDermott and Roy Hawes, co-founders of Beat Systems Ltd, were delighted with the company’s achievement.
Stringent examination and rigorous due diligence of Beat Systems software has been undertaken by industrial experts and leading Universities resulting in both the awards being made.
